Claude Fable 5 - Game-on-Demand

The Idea

Use Claude Fable AI to create a video-game-on-demand with no interaction other than a single simple prompt and a single image (the image is the ending).

When developing a game by hand, you do SO MUCH play testing that the game doesn't feel like a game anymore (this is why devs often have god modes etc in games, to get through to the part that is needed to test).
It's neat to think we live in a world that we can describe a game and then the output is something playable AND the "dev" has no clue how the game works. That's exactly what I tried to do here...

The prompt:

Browser based.
The idea is you wake up in a capsule...
you don't know if it's a space capsule or underwater
or what. You don't know anything. There are tons of
switches, buttons, lights, screens, etc. The idea
is that it's a complex machine that you will
need to figure out how to operate.
There is a window portal but its currently closed.

The AI model:

Claude Fable 5
Effort: High
I tried it on Max but because of the broad scope of the prompt, Claude would just think until it ran out of tokens without ever producing something useful. Tuning down to High seems to have been a good sweet spot.

The process:

I ONLY SUBMITTED BUG REPORTS.
As for "development", it was a matter of waiting for tokens to reset and then telling Claude to "go".

  1. Go
  2. Bug report
  3. Wait for tokens to reset
  4. Repeat

The ending:

I did submit a single ms-paint-style image of the ending.
I will not post that image anywhere because it is indeed a spoiler.

You can play for free!
